[A few hours after his parents have left, Cloud is brooding again, and his boys come home.]

Zak: Whee. *comes in, stomping, and drops his gear on the ground*

Cloud: *moping on his bed*

Seph: You've just got to watch that dropped guard, Zak-kun.

Zak: yeah, I know. *rubs his shoulder, which is cut and bruised*

Zak: On his bed. *points into Cloud's room*

Cloud: *running down the hall, gunblade in hand*

JS: *lunges swiftly, kicking at a 45% angle to his right, landing three blows to his knee, then kidney, then one to his head. Spins and aims for his left, missing, but finishing it with a roundhouse, knocking him full-force into Jenova's tank, knocking it over.*

JS: *is now in possession of masamune*

Door: Slams and locks as Cloud approaches.

Zak: *groaning like a drunken turk*

Cloud: SEMPAI! *bangs on the door*

Seph: *covered in mako and glass, staggers to his feet and lunges for the Buster Sword*

Reno: *runs down the hall with Scarlet* What the fuck?

Cloud: SEMPAI!! *kicking at the door with all his strength*

JS: *stops his lunge dead with the flat of masamune*

Reno: Need a hand? *shoots lock*

Lock: *has been murdered*

Cloud: *nods at Reno* Thanks...*races in*

Seph: *grabs Masamune by the blade and twists it*

JS: *twists it back, slicing through his glove and cutting his hand open*

Seph: *lets himself be cut* *bleeds on Masamune to remind her who her bearer is*

Seph: *jerks her free*

Cloud: Sephiroth! *poised to leap into the fray*

JS/Jenova: *goes for the tank to right it, makes it PAINFUL for ANYONE with Jenova cells to be in the room, prolly lets go of Jen*

Seph: MINE.

Zak: *groans*

Cloud: Aah! *clutches his head*

Reno: Shit! *also clutches head*

JS: *sets it upright, then falls to the ground, unconscious*

Zak: fuck this shit, man. *groans*

Seph: *breathing through his nose, panting with the pain* *grabs instrument tray and hurls it at the tank*

Scarlet: *trying to help Zak up* Oh my god... what's... shit. *Drags him outside*

Cloud: *shakes his head, trying to clear it*

Zak: *grabs a beaker off the table and launches it at Jenova's tank, hitting Seph*

Scarlet: *finds dragging Reno from the room easier*

Seph: *steps over Jen* *each step is a painful ordeal*

Zak: *groans*

Seph: *doesn't notice* *drives Masamune into the tank*

Zak: *drops and screams*

Scarlet: Everyone OUT, let Sephiroth handle this.

Seph: Heaven and hell agree....

Seph: *nose bleeding*

Zak: *clutching his head, nose pouring blood from the strain*

Cloud: *screams and nearly falls* *props himself up with gunblade*

Seph: *swings Masamune again, wielding it like a blunt object*

Cloud: I'm...not going anywhere...

Zak: *crawls to Cloud, places his hand on his* Cloud....

Tank: *starts to crack*

Cloud: I'm...gonna...be at his side...no matter what...

Cloud: *clutches Zak's hand*

Cloud: *tries to hold him up* C'mon...we're...in this together...

Zak: *grabs his sword from the ground, drags it towards him*

Zak: *leaning on Cloud, holding him and being held up by him*

Zak: *uses his sword as a crutch, leaving slices in the lab floor*

Jenova: Keep it up, Sephiroth. I can reach into the hallway. I'll kill them. What one you want me to drop first?

Seph: *hits the tank with Masamune again* *crying* YOU WILL LEAVE MY FAMILY ALONE!

Cloud: *inching toward the tank with Zak*

Zak: *screams and lunges forward, pulling Cloud with him*

Seph: *swings again*

Tank: *cracks*

Cloud: *grits his teeth and takes a swing at the tank*

Scarlet: *goes to drain the mako* *gets a shock and jumps back*

Scarlet: Well Fuck this *shoots out tubes*

Seph: *awash in mako and glass again*

JS: *groans* Seph.... stop....

Seph: Leave. Her. ALONE.

JS: Sephiroth, PLEASE! *gets to her feet*

Jenova: *prods Cloud and Reno, HARD* How's that then?

Reno: *falls over*

Cloud: *screams and collapses*

Seph: So, if I broke into the President's hot tub, would you be interested?

Seph: I'm worried that if I go in there by myself, I might fall asleep and drown.

Scarlet: Get your trunks on before we walk in on them doing things. I want to relax.

Scarlet: Remember the time you got your shots with Vin and you both wigged out and nearly killed Gast? The lab looks worse than that.

Reeve: Well, he shouldn't have tried to stick me with a needle! *grimaces* Worse? Gee. But the guys are alright?

Scarlet: Reno's going to be out for a few days but that could be exhaustion. The boys are fine, Sephiroth's sister is alive, Hojo and Lu are alive, Vin, Veld and Hojo have worked out their strange love triangle. I think we may live

Reeve: Great! *grins* Thank the Planet. *finishes getting changed for spa-ing*

Scarlet: *tosses sweater down* Yeah, and I got Hojo to talk to Veld and Vin... *shakes head* Seems that before one of his memory blanks Veld and Hojo were involved, and Veld forgot. No wonder he hated Vin.

Reeve: Whoa, weird. *picks up the sweater to fold it neatly on a chair* That's certainly news.

Cloud: *walks in wearing a tiiiny blue Speedo*

Scarlet: Is that look for us being here or Hojo and Veld?

Cloud: Um, nice bathing suit.

Scarlet: Yeah, he had a pretty wild life on Wutai. Poor guy. I'm sure he'll be happy to know that Jenova is gone. *looks down* Thanks, picked it up at Hawethorn, if you want one.

Cloud: *stares at them* *suddenly feeling very exposed*

Reeve: *folds his clothes neatly too before entering the hot tub too, slipping an arm around Scarlet*

Cloud: They're getting cleaned up, but they said they'd be here in a bit.

Scarlet: *prrrrrrr* You don't feel sick do you?

Cloud: *relaxes a little* A little, but the water's helping.

Cloud: I won't puke in the tub, if that's what you're getting at. ^^;

Reeve: *flinches* Puking very bad..

Reeve: Um, good job though, killing Jenova.

Cloud: Um, thanks I guess...but it was all Seph's doing...I kinda just stood there.

Scarlet: So when are you and your mom and dad going on that fishing trip? ^^

Cloud: *smiles a little* I dunno, we haven't really made concrete plans yet.

Cloud: It'll be fun though.

Reeve: You should. Fishing can be very relaxing.

Scarlet: Kitty's moved back, it's strange, with her and Vin back in Midgar I almost want to go get into a huge bar fight

Seph: I thought that was Finn.

Scarlet: Well, both then, apparently.

Seph: Has anybody NOT slept with my dad?

Scarlet: *thinks* Reeve, did you sleep with Hojo?

Seph: *slides into the water*

Cloud: *re-thinking this whole Speedo business, it's awfully small*

Scarlet: I'm sure a lot of people didn't sleep with your dad, Seph.

Seph: Yeah, well, lately it feels like he was the company whore, back in the day.

Scarlet: No, actually it wasn't.

Seph: Well, that's what she called herself.

Scarlet: Your mom was rather sweet pregnant, kinda waddley, and really REALLY liked pickles and whipped cream, but sweet and not blue.

Zak: *grabs cloud and cuddles*

Seph: *nods* It's just gonna - take a while to get used to the idea that she WASN'T my mother. She did, after all, contribute DNA. *tugs at his silver hair*

Scarlet: You'll get over it, I'm sure.

Seph: Yeah. *leans back in the water*

Cloud: *rests against Zak* *is kinda sleepy*

Scarlet: It feels kind of nice to have forced order upon the world. But I think that we should...perhaps call it a night? You boys have fun. I'll be in my office if you need me tomorrow. *leads Reeve out*

Cloud: Geez I thought they'd never leave...

Seph: No more embarrassing stories about my parental figures. Phew.
